Terrible fire at Greatwall Market in Sadarghat

A fire broke out at the Great Wall Market in the capital's Sadarghat. Firefighters rushed to the scene at around 8pm on Friday to report the blaze.

Ershad Hossain, duty officer of the fire service headquarters, said the fire was reported at 8:55 pm. Within five minutes, firefighters arrived at 9 a.m. and began work to contain the blaze.

Initially, the fire service official could not give any information about the cause of the fire and the casualties.
